A lot of homeowners sit on small deck and porch jobs way longer than they should. Not because the problem isn't real - a soft board, a shaky railing, stairs that creak and flex underfoot - but because they assume a contractor won't bother. Too small. Not worth the trip. We hear it all the time, and we want to clear that up.

This is exactly the kind of work we love. A deck rebuild with new pressure-treated framing, fresh decking boards laid clean and tight, railings built solid on both sides, and a stair run that actually feels safe to use. Every piece of this was framed right from the bottom up. That's what makes the difference between a deck that lasts and one you're fixing again in two years.

What you're looking at here is a complete rebuild - not a patch job. New posts, new framing, new decking, new railings all the way around, and stairs rebuilt with proper balusters and a sturdy handrail. The covered porch area up top got the same treatment. When the structure underneath is built correctly, everything above it holds up the way it's supposed to.

Small jobs get the same attention as big ones. That's just how we work. Whether it's a single set of stairs off a back door or a full deck replacement on a two-story home, the carpentry has to be right. Framing that's square, fasteners that are set properly, wood that's treated to handle the elements. It's not complicated - it just has to be done with care.

If you've been putting off a deck, porch, or stair repair because you figured it wasn't worth calling about, it is. These are the jobs that make your home safer and more usable every single day. We're glad to help with them.
